Northwest Montana was a rainy place again today. But, we just couldn't stay inside another day. We decided to brave the weather and head north some 60 miles to the town of Kalispell. The drive took us up the western shore of Flathead Lake, which gave us some new views to appreciate.
Kalispell is one of those quaint little towns that would be great fun to poke around in on a sunny Saturday afternoon. But, today the county seat of Flathead County was just wet. We passed on soggy sightseeing and decided to shop for a portable air compressor instead. Between downpours we enjoyed a picnic lunch in a lovely town park. Then the rains came again and we decided our day in Kalispell was done.
Someday we’ll come back and poke around awhile...when the weather is better.
